Before the Compaña building was conceived, there was a set of enclosures and buildings in its space that gradually gained more significance. As a result, in 1586, it became necessary to construct a building that would span across the Robledo de Chavela path and connect this part with the Botica del Monasterio. The building has two floors. On its ground floor are seven arches, the central one being the largest, separated by Doric order pillars, while on the second floor they are separated by Ionic order pilasters.
