Cinematographic research by the author between 1982-1992: filmmakers using cinematographic documentation; the cinematographic documentation centre; how the technical-artistic crew of the film is documented, how they research, what methodology they apply to their work; research disseminated in the classroom.

Alfonso López Yepes holds a PhD in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, where he has developed his teaching career as a Professor of Documentation since 1997. He is responsible for the Multimedia Documentation Service, attached to the Department of Librarianship and Documentation of the Faculties of Documentation Sciences and Information Sciences of the Complutense University, and is an honorary professor of the aforementioned department. He is the author, co-author, and coordinator of publications on cinematographic, journalistic, audiovisual, and multimedia documentation. Likewise, he is a member of the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos (CEC).
